As I mentioned in my post on Dispoz-A-Scoop, I have a big Golden Retriever named Koda. He was a rescue and we got him when he was 10 months old. Today, almost 5 years later, he is just the best pup ever, except for one thing…he’s horrible to walk. Now, it’s not his fault because we really never took the time to teach him properly so I don’t blame him but that doesn’t stop me from yelling and screaming when he almost pulls me off my feet to catch the neighborhood bunny rabbit! I think the final straw was when I had him at the park and he almost drug me into the lake, trying to chase after the geese…my knee has never been the same since. So, I began looking for something that could help stop the pulling problem. I was telling my tale of whoa to one of our local dog boutique retailers and she suggested that I try the Easy Walk Dog Harness. I figured I couldn’t be any worse off than I already was so I purchased it and went home to try it. Well, this product has been a god-send (insert angels singing here!). The Easy Walk is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on the leash. It redirects the pressure through the front leash attachment and it has a special no-choke design with easy on and off double shoulder snaps.
Some of the other great features are:
* Includes a quick snap buckle on both the shoulder and belly straps to make it easier to get the harness on and off the dog.
* It’s made of a durable, soft nylon with four adjustable points that provide maximum comfort and a reliable fit.
* The belly strap is a different color so you can see quickly which strap goes over the shoulders and which goes under the belly.
* The closure tightens slightly across the chest and shoulder blades when the dog attempts to pull forward, never causing coughing, gagging or choking.
